Privacy policy
Declutt is a directory of companies. You can read every page without an account and without telling us who you are. This page explains the little we do collect.

When you browse the site
We do not set cookies and we do not show advertising. We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which records pages viewed, the site a visitor came from, and their country, browser and device type. It does not use cookies and does not identify individual visitors.
The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel processes the IP address of each request in order to deliver the page and to protect the site from abuse.
When you send us a message
The claim and correction form asks for your name, email address, the company you are writing about, your connection to it and your message. A phone number is optional.
We use this to handle your request: to reply to you, to check that someone asking to manage a profile speaks for that company, and to update or remove a listing. We do not add you to a mailing list.
The form is delivered by Formspree, which passes your message to us by email and stores a copy on our behalf. We keep messages for as long as we need them to handle the request and to keep a record of why a listing was changed.
Information about listed companies
Company profiles are built from public sources: each company's Google Maps profile and its own website. They show business details such as the company name, phone number, address, opening hours, services, prices and Google rating.
Where a company's own website names its owner, a profile may show that name. If you would like your name removed, a detail corrected or a listing taken down, use the form and we will deal with it.
Who we share information with
We share information only with the services that run the site for us: Vercel for hosting and visit counts, and Formspree for the form. We do not sell personal information.
We may disclose information if the law requires it.
Your choices
You can ask what information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Send the request through the form and choose the privacy option. We will reply to the email address you give.
The site is meant for adults and is not directed at children.
Changes to this policy
If what we collect or how we use it changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
